love letters
(a series)

solo performance  (20´)
2025

With two voices, yet one body, the performer’s inner dialogue becomes audible. A conversation, or rather a chaotic duet between the artist and herself ensues. Through dance, comedic misunderstandings and melancholic melodies, the performer unfolds the story of a love letter and its disappearance.

What stays is the playful documentation of what it feels like to be a person - an invitation to rest within a microcosm of vulnerability.

Nests in Flight

collaborative performance and research
2025

Nests in Flight approaches performance as a collective practice of remembrance. Movement, voice, music, and improvisation are interwoven with the architecture of their given context, giving rise to a sensitive choreography of listening.

Drawing on methods such as Deep Listening, Viewpoints, and Action Theater, the artists investigate questions of trust, care, and safe spaces. The performance unfolds across interior and exterior locations, responding both to the physical traces of their environment and to the movements of its visitors.

Bodies inscribe themselves into space, voices evoke fragments of memory, and fleeting images suggest alternative ways of living together.

Inner Radiance

multi-media dance performance
2026

How can we perceive worlds lying hidden within us, and how can excavating the unseen of the human organism help us better internalize our commonalities? This is investigated here via live ultrasound — generating 3D volumes of dancers whose interiors expand into the immersive environment of Deep Space; choreographically performing within their interior selves — representationally and abstractly — to engage with medical technology beyond its diagnostic contexts and surface visual biases.

UniversEye is an immersive audiovisual performance, created with the dance company TANZ LINZ in collaboration with the Ars Electronica Center and the Art University of Linz.
Over several months, dance and audio-visual artists collaborated to create a performance inspired by themes such as the four elements, belonging, individuality and love. Through a consistently transdisciplinary approach, the artists create an otherworldly performance, where live visuals and movement continuously inspire and inform each other.

ESOPTRON

short dance film (11’36)
2020 - 2023

ESOPTRON is a short dance film, based on the dance duet of the same title. The project is the artists’ response to the changes which accompanied the COVID pandemic and explores the themes of touch, seclusion, and the necessity for physical contact.
The project was tightly linked to the collaboration with  the composer Joan Goméz Alemany, who created the musical score and Aleks Kaplun, who hand-crafted custom masks for the performers. These two elements played a defining role in the final narrative and choreography. During production, the film location (an active quarry in Upper Austria) became the third defining feature and character of the film.

Lost Iterations

experimental short film (3’18)
2023

Lost Iterations is a convergent film, approaching abstraction and narration. A random reconfiguration of light, movement, cameras, and humans, leads to organic, hypnotic, and abstract visuals. The artists playfully experiment with complementary concepts. Movement and stillness, human and machine, and their protagonist: light and its shadow. Through thorough curation, they create an autonomous being, free to run and dream, as a story of stillness, life, death, and rebirth glitches through.

LEKANI

mixed-media dance performance
(12’ - 25’)
2022 - ongoing
photo: Hazem Wakaf

LEKANI is an immersive audiovisual contemporary dance performance. Inspired by the panopticon of Michel Foucalt, the artists recreate a closed, guarded environment, resulting in a recursive relationship between surveillance and supervision. The traditional observation tower is replaced by digital cameras placed around the performance space, so that dancers are situated at the intersection between their physical and digital appearance.

The powers that surveil society are invisible to the surveilled. These powers are abstract and self-regulating - applied from all angles. The boundaries between observation and surveillance become blurred. Artists and audience are immersed in a contemporary and explicit panopticon. We are the observers observing ourselves.

flowers, bodies and STONES

site-specific performance (60’00)
2023
photo: Robert Maybach
flowers, bodies and STONES opens as a parcours through the spaces of OK. Hybrid beings move in fragmented environments, accompanied by in/organic material. Bodies root themselves and branch out across the museum’s floors until they finally reach its rooftop. They interweave the gallery spaces through means of rhizomatic relations and timelines. In/stability, transformation, decay and the un/canny are the motifs of the immersive performance by Claudia Bosse with students from the Institute of Dance Arts of the Anton Bruckner Private University and the Kunstuniversität Linz.

Polychoros

immersive dance performance (10’00)
2022
photo: Florian Voggeneder
Polychoros by Ariathney Coyne, Vahid Ghaderi and Georgios Tsampounaris takes the audience on a personal journey, going through the five stages of needs in order to achieve self-actualization. Here, the human dancer in physical space merges with a performer in virtual space, the immersive projection surface of Deep Space 8K. The performative duet unites the supposedly contradictory nature of their existence. The expressive dance performance was part of the Night Performances during the Futurelab Day of the Ars Electronica Festival 2022.
